Under the Cherry Tree
I saw the way that you looked into his eyes,
When the end came it wasnt really much of a surprise.
My heart ached that you loved him,
You were to be mine not his.
A marital promise before I laid eyes on you,
I was waiting, keeping my heart open.
Yet, my brother caught your heart first,
You were to be mine not his.
Your raven black hair and bright eyes,
A warm heart and your smile too,
These I wanted for myself.
You were to be mine not his.
I knew you met at the full of the moon,
Clandestine meetings in the garden,
Where he would whisper sweet things in your ear,
And youd smile and give him the
There,
You are.
I see you here.
Standing by yourself,
Alone.
Eyes are glued to mine,
There's no place to hide.
I'm here in this other hemisphere,
There's my body,
Here's my heart.
In my dreams we meet,
Isn't it sweet.
In bitter truth,
We are apart,
It's a military art.
When you return it's a fresh start.
With letters in between,
Just for reassurance,
That you're my Queen.
Till the end,
You're my friend.
So in sadness and doubt,
Look not in but without,
See me there.
A smile on my lips,
And for you a kiss.
Hugs a bunch,
With a glomp.
Have your spirits rise,
A gleam in your eye.
Tonight dream of me,
Tomorrow you
No Longer a Shadow
I'm no longer a shadow,
Can you see me?
I've been here for years,
Have you seen me?
The one with the answer,
Did you hear me?
I sat there in class,
Did you notice me?
Eyes looking down,
Did you look me in the eye?
I sought to find my place,
Did you help me find it?
I've waited long enough.
The light is enveloping me,
It's made me grow.
When I return you'll ask,
Who are you?
Now I know,
I've discovered the truth,
I'm me.
Slowly Crumbling
Don't you see me sitting in the dark?
Slowly falling apart.
You were like a Shark,
You came and ate all my art,
And with it my heart.
There is now a space,
That shows my disgrace,
Now I can look no one in the face.
I feel as if I fade,
Losing worth like tarnished jade,
Can you see past my façade?
I put on a smile,
There's no more of me to defile,
But maybe that's just my denial.

My Best Friend
There was a time when I was lost and this was during my younger years. I hadn't realized there was a path I had strayed from, I didn't know it was there. You see this path is invisible. The only things that keep you on it are your conscience and God. Sometimes it's very hard and when you find my best friend, Christ, you realize it's there and try to stay on it.
Most people in this world feel lonely, unloved, and don't know what the meaning of their life is. I was once like this, but not anymore. I had attended a church program and heard the word of God. When I heard the stories of the Bib
Looking out
I stand on the shore line with my toes buried deep into the warm sand. The waves try and capture my toes but I dance easily out of reach. The gulls are soaring overhead on the warm currents of air, their cries resounding in my head. Umbrellas dot the coast line of hotel beaches. Some of the locals are hawking their wares to the tourists who come to sun bathe and swim. Little children go along the shallows looking for shells, and every once in awhile a shout of triumph is heard when they find a magnificent one. The little sea crabs dash away at the approach of feet. There's a sand ca
Kiss
Kiss me here,
Right here on my cheek.
Always in this spot,
It's your spot,
The spot you kiss me.
I get a kiss Goodbye,
You give another for Hello.
You kiss me on my cheek,
This is the spot you kiss me,
It's your spot,
The spot you kiss me.

It has been so long since I did an updated journal. I mean really the last one is talking about a date with my boyfriend when I first started dating him two years ago, and I have graduated and received that bachelors degree last year. This year I've just been working at my crummy job, but hey at least it pays the bills and I have a job, unlike many these days. Really though I'd love to find a new job, its just that I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life, and its hard. I like lots of things and I want a job that can incorporate at least some of them. Anyway at least I have my boyfriend to keep me company and hopefully next weekend we
Yea tonight I'm going on a date. Woohoo! Anyway I finally put up various pieces of my art today but they don't look that amazing (some of them) until I can scan them in. Well the semester is almost over and I can't wait for vacation, it'll be so much less stress. But for now its study and do papers, ahhhh. Next year I'll be that much closer to graduating with my bachelors degree. So happy!

Wow, my last journal said I was in my second semester of college but now I've finished my second year of college, time flies. Now I'm just waiting to start my third year of school and begin my bachelors in Asian studies. I realized I've been on this site for so long yet haven't updated much or kept my ties with many other artists, lack of internet sometimes gets in the way of course but I think maybe I just don't make great effort to know those I'll never meet in person. But then again it could be because I have such a busy and complex life. Anyway I love coming on here just to look the beauty in other peoples art. I love to find pictures fo
